Oliver Goldsmith Sunglasses
In the second half of the 20th century, Oliver Goldsmith became synonymous with the stars and style.
Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Michael Caine, Sophia Loren – the poster boys and girls for style defining eyewear. Think cult films of the 1950’s and 1960’s – The Ipress File, Charade, One For The Road.
Also think iconic style makers; Givenchy, Dior and Vidal Sassoon. So strong was Oliver Goldsmith’s appeal that they were approached to design frames to compliment their seasonal collections.
OG Icons is a sunglass collection of replicas of these vintage frames dating back to the 1950’s.
Each frame is reproduced exactly as it was originally designed.
Inspired by her family’s legacy, Claire Goldsmith, granddaughter of Oliver, launched her own eyewear collection of unique and timeless frames under the CG eyewear label.
If you’re going to be talented, might as well keep it in the family, eh!
